Terms and Conditions for www.madhatterstearooms.co.uk and associated sites, including bookings and classes.
We reserve the right to alter these conditions at any time.
‘You’ refers to customer, ‘We’/’Us’ refers to Mad Hatters Tearoom & Bakery Ltd
Classes, Workshops and Parties
Before paying and booking on to one of our classes, please ensure you check the dates thoroughly. Once a class is booked and paid for we are unable to offer refunds. Please also note that your place on our classes are not confirmed until full payment has been made and received by us.
Changing your booking
If for any reason you decide you cannot make your chosen class and you give us at least 3weeks notice, we will try to re-sell your space. If we are successful in re-selling your space, we will offer you a gift voucher for your paid amount or offer you a different date. Please note that this will be subject to an administration charge of £25, for which we will require payment before transferring your date/issuing your voucher.
If you give us less than 3weeks notice, unfortunately we will not be able to provide a refund or offer an alternative date/voucher. These conditions are final and cover any reasoning, including (but not limited to) adverse weather conditions, travel cancellations, and personal reasoning.
We highly recommend taking out an insurance policy to cover emergency cancellations.
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a class or workshop we will offer a full refund. This refund will include your class fee only, and will not include any booking fees made by third party websites. We are also not liable for the reimbursement of any of your expenses and costs resulting from the cancelling of your class. This includes but is not limited to, travel expenses and overnight accommodation. By booking you accept our liability is fully limited to the original price of the class.
You attend our workshops completely at your own risk, and we will not be liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during your workshop. You fully accept that in some of our classes you will use sharp knives, electrical equipment and heat omitting appliances.
During our workshops, we do take photographs, if you’d prefer not to have your photo taken or used in any material, please let us know. We reserve the right to use the photographs taken during our classes on (but not limited to) our website, through our social media profiles, in any of our advertising campaigns and this may include printed media.
If you would like to use photographs of any of the cakes and bakes you have made in the classes on social media sites inluding Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. you are welcome to do so, but we do ask that you please ALWAYS credit them with a note stating where they were made and a link to our website.
Please inform us of any special dietary requirements or allergies before booking your class. If we cannot accommodate your request and you have already purchased your class, the above cancellation policies will apply.
We reserve the right to alter course and workshop content at any time.
All content on our website, and social media accounts is the intellectual property of Mad Hatters Tearoom & Bakery Ltd. By attending a course with us, you agree not to copy or imitate this content for your own commercial purposes following the course. This includes our cake designs, recipes and course content.
If you run classes yourself or plan on starting classes or workshops, you MAY NOT use the items you have made during your class to promote your own classes or your business.
You may not use designs, lesson plans, class format, photographs, teaching techniques, pre class information, notes, wording or any other elements of the our class/workshop you attend for your own classes or the promotion of your own classes.
We have done our best to ensure our descriptions and content on the website is accurate but we cannot be held responsible for any slight errors.
We reserve the right to alter our pricing at any time.
All text, images and content of this website is copyright and it may not be used or reproduced elsewhere without our permission.
We cannot be held responsible for the comments of external users posted to our linked sites, including (but not limited to) our social media accounts. If you do see anything offensive, please let us know and we will do our best to remove it if we consider that appropriate.
